That was so much fun, thanks for putting it together. Here is my recipe:
Taco Soup
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 1oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 15oz. can tomato sauce
1 15oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
2 15oz. kidney beans, drained
Cook beef and onion. Place beef in crock pot w/rest of ingredients. Cook on low for 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream, green inions, cheese and salsa.
Apple Pie - Hilary Noel
1/3 c melted butter
1 tea cinnamon
4 lbs (12 cups) granny smith apples
cored and sliced
pie crust - 2 crusts
1/4 c Xagave (or 1/2 cup brown sugar)
2 tbls flour
1/2 tea salt
1 tbls water
preheat oven to 475. coat apples in butter and cinnamon. Cook apples on foil-lined cookie sheet for 7-10 minutes stirring halfway through. Reduce heat to 375
Prepare crust.
Stir Xagave, flour and salt. Add apples and toss to coat. Transfer to prepared pie crust. Top with pie crust. Trim and crimp edges. Slit top. Brush with egg and water. Cover with foil.
Bake 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake 35-40 minutes.

Caramel Popcorn
1/2-3/4 cup unpopped popcorn popped
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup light karo syrup
1 Tbs water
1/4 tsp baking soda
Bring brown sugar, butter, vanilla, karo syrup and water to a medium boil. Sitr continuously. Boil for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add baking soda, coating will puff up. Pour over popcorn and toss.
